Ralls County is a county located in the northeastern portion of the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2020 census, the population was 10,355. Its county seat is New London. The county was organized November 16, 1820 and named for Daniel Ralls, Missouri state legislator. Ralls County is part of the Hannibal, MO Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Quincy-Hannibal, IL-MO Combined Statistical Area. Center is a city in Ralls County, Missouri, United States. The population was 528 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Hannibal Micropolitan Statistical Area. History Center was originally spelled "Centre" and under the latter name was platted in 1871. The community was so named on account of its location near the county's geographical center. Spencer Creek (Salt River)
Spencer Creek is a stream in Ralls and Pike counties of the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of the Salt River. The stream headwaters arise in the western edge of Pike County adjacent to the south side of Missouri Route 154 about west of Curryville (at ). The stream flows generally west passing about north of Vandalia then turns northwest crossing under Route 154 east of Liberty Hall. The stream turns north then northeast and passes the village of Madisonville and continues roughly parallel to the boundary between Ralls and Pike counties. It enters briefly into Pike County just prior to passing under U.S. Route 61.
