Madhab Palace is a palace located in the Madhab district on the northwest edge of Fujairah City, Emirate of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is close to Fujairah Heritage Village and Madhab Spring Park. The palace is the official residence of the ruler of Fujairah, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, and is used to receive official guests. Fujairah City ( ar, الفجيرة) is the capital of the emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. It is the seventh-largest city in UAE, located on the Gulf of Oman (part of the Indian Ocean). Madhab Spring Park (aka Madhab Sulpheric Spring Park) is a park, mineral spring, and tourist attraction located close to Fujairah Heritage Village, northwest of Fujairah City, Emirate of Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The park is located under the foothills of the Hajar Mountains, inland of Fujairah City. It has grass and trees, under which it is possible to picnic. The source of the mineral spring is on the edge of the park, feeding two swimming pools. The park is open daily. The park covers 39,000 square metres and was upgraded in 2016. Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi
Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi (; born 22 February 1949) is the ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. Early life Hamad Al Sharqi was born in 1949, the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, former ruler of the Emirate of Fujairah, one of the principalities which make up the United Arab Emirates. His mother, Sheikha Fatima bint Rashid Al Nuaimi, was a princess of the neighbouring Emirate of Ajman; she was the sister of the present ruler of Ajman, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi. Hamad Mohammed Al Sharqi studied Arabic at Eastbourne School of English in East Sussex, United Kingdom, from 1969 to 1970. He attended the Mons Officer Cadet School in 1970.
