''Made in Japan'' is a live album by English hard rock band Whitesnake. It was recorded at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Saitama during the Loud Park Festival. It was released on 3 April 2013 in Japan, 19 April in Europe 22 April UK and 23 April in the US. The album was released as a Blu-ray, a single DVD set, a 2CD/DVD digipack. Whitesnake are an English hard rock band formed in London in 1978. The group was originally put together as the backing band for singer David Coverdale, who had recently left Deep Purple. Though the band quickly developed into their own entity, Coverdale is the only constant member throughout their history. Whitesnake enjoyed much success in the UK, Europe and Japan through their early years. Their albums ''Ready an' Willing'', ''Come an' Get It'' and ''Saints & Sinners (Whitesnake album), Saints & Sinners'' all reached the top ten on the UK Albums Chart. "Is This Love" is a song by British-American rock band Whitesnake. It was released in 1987 as the second single from their self-titled album. The single was a hit for Whitesnake, reaching number nine in the UK Singles Chart, and number two on the US ''Billboard Hot 100'' singles chart where it was barred from the top spot by George Michael's smash hit "Faith", making it their second-biggest US hit after "Here I Go Again", which topped the charts. The single was reissued in 1994 to promote '' Whitesnake's Greatest Hits''. This version reached number 25 on the UK Singles Chart. "Is This Love" has been a mainstay in Whitesnake's live shows since 1987. Brian Tichy
Brian Tichy (born August 18, 1968) is an American musician, best known as having been the drummer for Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foreigner (band), Foreigner, Sass Jordan, and Ozzy Osbourne. He was the drummer of Whitesnake from 2010 to 2013. His surname means ''silent'' in Czech, Slovak and other Slavic languages. In 2015, he became a full-time member of Operation: Mindcrime (band), Operation: Mindcrime and The Dead Daisies. Career Tichy began playing drums at age eight and started playing guitar at age 12. Reb Beach
Richard Earl "Reb" Beach Jr. (born August 31, 1963) is an American rock guitarist. He is a member of the bands Winger and Whitesnake. Career After graduating from Fox Chapel Area High School and attending Berklee College of Music in the early 1980s, he played in Fiona's backing band and became an accomplished studio musician, working with the likes of Howard Jones, Chaka Khan, The Bee Gees, Twisted Sister, and Roger Daltrey, among others, showcasing Beach's ability to adapt to various musical styles. While working with Fiona, he was introduced to Kip Winger, who was touring with Alice Cooper at the time. Eventually they formed the band Sahara along with Rod Morgenstein and Paul Taylor, which was later renamed to Winger.
