Madeleine Yrenea "Maddie" Madayag (born February 7, 1998) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for a local club team named Choco Mucho Flying Titans. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Philippines Women's National Volleyball Team
The Philippines women's national volleyball team represents the Philippines in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Philippine National Volleyball Federation since 2021. Philippines' highest achievement was they qualified and competed in the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in 1974 edition, where they finished at 18th place. History The Philippine national team was formerly organized and sanctioned by the Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF), originally known as the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation (PAVA) from 1961 to 2003. UAAP Season 77 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 77 seniors' division volleyball tournament started on November 22, 2014 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila. Opening-day games were the women's teams of UE vs UST at 2 PM and Ateneo vs NU at 4 PM. The tournament main venue was the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City while selected games will be played at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, and the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay. The UAAP Season 77 high school volleyball tournament started on July 26, 2014. The tournament venue was the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven. Far Eastern University fielded boys' and girls' volleyball teams this season. The 2023 Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference was the sixteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League. The tournament began on October 15, 2023. This tournament was set to be the second post-pandemic import-laden conference known as the 2023 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference, with the Angels set to defend their crown, but was made into a second All-Filipino Conference as a consequence of sanctions from the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. UAAP Season 79 Volleyball Tournaments
The UAAP Season 79 volleyball tournaments started on February 4, 2017 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, with the opening games of the men and women's senior volleyball tourneys, participated by 8 regular UAAP members. Aside from the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the games will also be held at the Filoil Flying V Centre, San Juan City and the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay. The UAAP Season 78 high school volleyball tournament started on August 22, 2015. The tournament venue is the Adamson University Gym in San Marcelino St., Ermita, Manila. Adamson is the tournament host. The number of participating schools in the boys' and girls' tournaments both increased to seven.
