Macromedia Director
Adobe Director (formerly Macromedia Director, MacroMind Director, and MacroMind VideoWorks) was a multimedia application authoring platform created by Macromedia and managed by Adobe Systems until its discontinuation. Director was the primary editor on the Adobe Shockwave platform, which dominated the interactive multimedia product space during the 1990s. Various graphic adventure games were developed with Director during the 1990s, including ''Living Books'', ''The Journeyman Project'', '' Total Distortion'', '' Eastern Mind: The Lost Souls of Tong Nou'', '' Mia's Language Adventure'', '' Mia's Science Adventure'', and the ''Didi & Ditto'' series. Windows 7 is a major release of the Windows NT operating system developed by Microsoft. It was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and became generally available on October 22, 2009. It is the successor to Windows Vista, released nearly three years earlier. It remained an operating system for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs and media center PCs, and itself was replaced in November 2012 by Windows 8, the name spanning more than three years of the product. Didi & Ditto is an edutainment software series created in 2003 by Kutoka Interactive. The series consists in three grade-based titles for preschool (ages 2 to 4), kindergarten (ages 4 to 6) and first grade (ages 5 to 7). Gameplay After the player picks either Didi (the red beaver girl) or Ditto (the blue beaver boy), an introductory cinematic tells a story and sets the player's mission. The mission consists in exploring Didi & Ditto's interactive world to collect a number of items by winning educational activities. Collecting all the items means completing the mission and seeing the conclusion cinematic. Bitblit
Bit blit (also written BITBLT, BIT BLT, BitBLT, Bit BLT, Bit Blt etc., which stands for ''bit block transfer'') is a data operation commonly used in computer graphics in which several bitmaps are combined into one using a ''boolean function''. The operation involves at least two bitmaps: a "source" (or "foreground") and a "destination" (or "background"), and possibly a third that is often called the "mask". ActiveX is a deprecated software framework created by Microsoft that adapts its earlier Component Object Model (COM) and Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) technologies for content downloaded from a network, particularly from the World Wide Web.
