Macieira is a Portuguese brandy created by José Guilherme Macieira after he studied winemaking in the French region of Cognac, famous for the production of this type of product. Bombarral () is a municipality in the District of Leiria in Central Portugal. The population in 2011 was 13,193, in an area of .
