Maccabi Kiryat Gat ( he, מכבי קריית גת) is a professional basketball team based in the city of Kiryat Gat, Israel. History In 2013, the club was relegated to the Liga Artzit, due to financial issues. In 2014, they promoted back to the second division. In 2015, they promoted back to the Premier League after winning the Finals against Kiryat Ata. On July 16, 2018, Maccabi Kiryat Gat was dissolved due to financial issues. Arenas The team played home games at the Ashkelon Sports Arena. Muhammad El-Amin
Muhammad El-Amin (born July 25, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Panionios of the Greek Basket League. He currently coaches 8th grade basketball at MacDonald Middle School. Early life El-Amin grew up in Ingham County, Michigan and attended Holt High School from 2002 to 2006. His freshman and sophomore years were spent at the junior varsity level, and El-Amin did not appear to have a chance at playing college basketball. Aided by a four-inch growth spurt between his sophomore and junior seasons, coupled with hard work in the gym, he found himself as a starter on Holt's competitive varsity squad. F.C. Hapoel Kiryat Gat ( he, מ.ס. קריית גת) was an Israeli football team based in the southern city of Kiryat Gat. the club's best achievement was the fifth place in the fourth division, Liga Bet. Currently, only the Women's section is operated by the club. the club is part of Hapoel Association, Since summer 2010. Alando Forest Tucker (born February 11, 1984) is an American former collegiate basketball coach and former professional basketball player who played for the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before joining the NBA, he played college basketball for the University of Wisconsin-Madison men's basketball team, where he became its all-time leading scorer with a total of 2,217 points.
