Josh Selby
Joshua Cornell Selby (born March 27, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for BC Pieno žvaigždės, Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys of the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, Lithuanian Basketball League. He played one year of college basketball with the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball, Kansas Jayhawks before being selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 49th pick in the 2011 NBA draft. High school and recruitment Selby attended Lake Clifton Eastern High School, Lake Clifton High School in Baltimore for his senior year, having previously attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Maryland and The John Carroll School in Bel Air, Maryland. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Bnei Herzliya Basket (, lit. ''Sons of Herzliya''), is a professional basketball club that is based in Herzliya, in the Sharon district in Israel. Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL) (''English'': Lithuanian Basketball League), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier professional men's club basketball league in Lithuania. The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. Started by the Sunday magazine in 1957, it had been the longest ongoing selection of high school basketball All-Americans in the country at the time of its final selections in 2015. Many of the honorees went on to star as college and professional basketball players. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The 2014–2015 Israeli Basketball Super League, for sponsorships reasons known as Ligat Winner Basketball, was the 61st season of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. The season began on October 12, 2014 and ended on June 25, 2014. The Franklin Bulls are a New Zealand basketball team based in Pukekohe, Auckland.
