San Vito Lo Capo
San Vito Lo Capo ( scn, Santu Vitu) is a town and ''comune'' in North-Western Sicily, Italy, administratively part of the province of Trapani. The small town is located in a valley between mountains, and is home to a public beach that is destination of local vacationers. The town's primary industries are tourism and agriculture, particularly olive groves owned by small farmers. The town's eastern border is provided by a small range of mountains, the northernmost of which is peaked by a large cross visible from the public beach below. The mountain is home to numerous caves, most of which are inaccessible without professional climbing gear. Anne Marie Macari (born 1955) is an American poet. Life and career Macari was born in Queens, New York. She is a graduate of Oberlin College and holds an MFA in creative writing from Sarah Lawrence College. Macari founded and taught in the Drew University MFA Program for Poetry & Poetry in Translation. She has also taught on the faculty of the Prague Summer Seminars. She is a member of the Alice James Books Cooperative Board. Macari has published five books of poetry, including ''Heaven Beneath'' (Persea, 2020). Her first book, ''Ivory Cradle'', won The APR/Honickman First Book Prize in Poetry. Lewis Jon Macari (born 8 February 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL League Two club Notts County on loan from EFL Championship club Stoke City. Luigi Macari (born 7 June 1949) is a Scottish former footballer and manager. He began his playing career at Celtic where he was one of the Quality Street Gang, the outstanding reserve team that emerged in the late 1960s that also included Kenny Dalglish and Danny McGrain. He is best known for his time at Manchester United, where he played over 400 games. He helped them win promotion back to the First Division and then played in their FA Cup win of 1977. Paul Macari (born 23 August 1976) is an English former professional footballer who played as a forward. The son of former Scotland international Lou Macari, he played professionally for Stoke City and Huddersfield Town. His brother Mike Macari was also a professional footballer. Career Macari joined Stoke City as a trainee in August 1993 and made his debut as a substitute in a 1–1 away draw against Charlton in a Division One match in October 1997.
