Lewis Macari
Lewis Jon Macari (born 8 February 2002) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for EFL League Two club Notts County on loan from EFL Championship club Stoke City. Club career Macari began his career with Stoke City, spending time on loan at Market Drayton Town, before moving on loan to Irish club Dundalk in February 2022. He returned to Stoke in May, before the loan deal was extended until November, being the end of Dundalk's season. He scored his first goal for the club in a 2–1 win over Finn Harps in October. He made his debut for Stoke City on 8 January 2022, appearing as a late substitute in an FA Cup match against Hartlepool United. On 1 September 2023, Macari joined League Two side Notts County on a six-month loan. He scored on his Football League debut. The English Football League Trophy, known for sponsorship purposes as the Papa Johns Trophy after restaurant chain Papa John's Pizza, is an annual English association football knockout competition open to all clubs in EFL League One and EFL League Two, with the addition of 16 under-21 teams from Premier League and EFL Championship clubs since the 2016–17 season. The 2022 League of Ireland Premier Division, known as the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division for sponsorship reasons, is the 38th season of the League of Ireland Premier Division, the top Irish league for association football clubs since its establishment in 1985. Northern Premier League
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia. Originally a single-division competition, a second division was added in 1987: Division One, and in 2007 a third was added when Division One split into two geographic sections - Division One North and Division One South.
