MacEwan Station
MacEwan station is an Edmonton Light Rail Transit station on the Metro Line in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. It is located across from MacEwan University on 105 Avenue between 103 and 104 Street. The station opened on September 6, 2015. History Construction of the first phase of the project that links the station with Churchill station began in fall 2009 with completion originally set for early 2014. It was announced on August 31, 2009, that the Katz Group had bought the land adjacent to the site for the MacEwan Station, with the intention to build Rogers Place, a new NHL arena. Stantec Tower is a 66-storey above and 4 underground, mixed-use skyscraper in Ice District in the downtown core of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. On May 23, 2018, it reached a construction height of and surpassed the JW Marriott Edmonton Ice District & Residences, becoming the tallest building in Edmonton and one of the largest mixed-use projects in Canada. Edmonton Tower, is a 29-storey tall, office building in the Ice District area of Edmonton, Alberta. It opened in mid-December 2016. McCauley, Edmonton
McCauley is a vibrant and ethnically diverse inner city neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta undergoing revitalization. It is named for Matthew McCauley, the first mayor of Edmonton, and is located just to the north east of the Downtown core. McCauley is famous as the home of dozens of religious buildings concentrated in a small area as well as being a large venue for the 1978 Commonwealth Games. The neighbourhood is roughly triangle-shaped, bounded on the north by 111 Avenue/Norwood Boulevard, the west by 101 Street, and the south east by the LRT line and the old Canadian National Railway right of way. Epcor Tower is an office tower in downtown Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The tower is capped by two spires that are capped with four flagpoles each. Chinatown and Little Italy is a business revitalization zone (BRZ) created by the City of Edmonton, roughly comprising the informal Chinatown and Little Italy ethnic enclaves in the city's inner neighbourhoods. The boundaries of the BRZ includes only the "commercial strips" within those enclaves and the BRZ itself straddles the official neighbourhoods of McCauley and Boyle Street. The CN Tower is an , 26- storey office building located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The building was built by the Canadian National Railway Company as Edmonton's first skyscraper, and at its completion in 1966 was the tallest building in Western Canada. The CN Tower would remain Edmonton's and Western Canada's tallest building until 1971 when it was surpassed by Edmonton House.
