Sint Maarten () is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Caribbean. With a population of 41,486 as of January 2019 on an area of , it encompasses the southern 44% of the divided island of Saint Martin, while the northern 56% of the island constitutes the French overseas collectivity of Saint Martin. Maarten de Bruijn (born 1965) is a Dutch engineer. Born in Naarden, he graduated in 1996 at University of Amsterdam with master's degree in City Planning. 1990-1996 he single-handed designed, constructed and made functional prototype Spyker Silvestris V8. 1999 he co-founded with Victor Muller company Spyker Cars for production of sport cars. Maarten de Bruijn designed and styled Spyker C8 The Spyker C8 is a sports car produced by the Dutch automaker Spyker Cars since 2000. Maarten Brzoskowski (born 19 September 1995) is a Dutch competitive swimmer of Polish origin who specializes in freestyle. He holds the Dutch records in both the long course and short course 400 meter freestyle events. His father's grandfather emigrated during World War I from Poland to the Netherlands. Career Brzoskowski participated in his first international championships at the 2014 European Aquatics Championships in Berlin, swimming the 400, 800, and 1500 meter freestyle events. He qualified for the 800 meter and 1500 meter freestyle at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia, where he finished 16th and 15th in the heats. After the world championships, he shifted his focus from the 1500 meter to the 400 meter. Maarten Bouwknecht (born 14 December 1994) is a professional basketball player who plays for ZZ Leiden. Born in Groningen, he started his career with Donar in 2013. Standing at 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in), he usually plays as point guard or shooting guard. Maarten Boudry (born 15 August 1984) is a Dutch-speaking Belgian philosopher and skeptic. He has been a researcher and teaching member of the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences at Ghent University since 2006. To date, he has published over 30 articles in various philosophy of science journals. Academic background Boudry began his studies in philosophy at Ghent University in 2002, where he graduated cum laude in 2006. Maarten Boddaert (born 12 September 1989) is a Dutch footballer who plays for the Hoofdklasse club Achilles Veen. Maarten Biesheuvel (23 May 1939 in Schiedam – 30 July 2020 in Leiden) was a Dutch writer of short stories and novellas. He made his literary debut in 1972 with the short story collection ''In de bovenkooi''. He received the "Ferdinand Bordewijk Prijs" in 1984 for ''Reis door mijn kamer''. In 2007 he received the P. C. Hooft Award. The Dutch was named after him and is awarded to the author of the best collection of short stories that has appeared in the Dutch language during the previous year. From 1990 Biesheuvel's literary production slowed significantly due to a writer's block and manic-depressive phases. He died in July 2020. Maarten van Regteren Altena (born January 22, 1943) is a Dutch composer and contrabassist. Altena attended the Conservatorium van Amsterdam (he studied contrabass) and graduated in 1968. Between 1980 and 1985, he studied composition with Robert Heppener. Career Altena first recorded with Theo Loevendie, after which he had the opportunity to be part of Marion Brown's trio that recorded ''Porto Novo'' along with Han Bennink.
