Ma Xiuyue
Ma Xiuyue (; born May 21, 1991) is a Chinese curler from Harbin. He won a bronze medal at the 2015 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships and represented China at the 2022 Winter Olympics, skipping the men's curling team. Career Ma represented China twice at the World Junior Curling Championships in 2011 and 2012. On both occasions, his team finished with a 4–5 record. Also in 2011 and 2012, Ma won back-to-back Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships. Ma skipped the Chinese team at the 2013 Winter Universiade. Representing the Harbin Institute of Physical Education, his team finished in ninth with a 2–7 record. In 2015, Ma was the alternate on the Chinese team skipped by Zang Jialiang at the 2015 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships. Joël Retornaz
Joël Thierry Retornaz (born 30 September 1983 in Chêne-Bougeries, Genève, Switzerland) is an Italian curler from Cembra. He was the skip of the Italian men's Olympic curling team in 2006, 2018, and 2022. Retornaz gained sudden renown in Italy during the 2006 Winter Olympics. Although Italy has little curling tradition, and the sport was practiced only by a few hundred amateurs, Retornaz led the semi-professional Italian team to several unexpected victories over strong teams, including Canada. This breakthrough inspired a sudden national curiosity for curling, previously almost unknown in Italy. Steffen Walstad
Steffen Walstad (born February 10, 1989 in Oppdal) is a Norwegian curler from Oppdal. He currently skips his own team. Career Juniors Walstad played in three World Junior Curling Championships, from 2008 to 2010 inclusive. At the 2008 World Junior Curling Championships he played third for the Kristian Rolvsfjord rink, finishing in 4th place. At the 2009 World Junior Curling Championships he played second for the team, finishing in 5th place. Peter De Cruz
Peter Vincent de Cruz (born 4 January 1990) is a Swiss curler. He is an Olympic bronze medallist for Switzerland, having skipped his Swiss rink to a third place finish at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. While de Cruz is the skip of his team, he throws second stones. As a junior, De Cruz skipped the Swiss team at both the 2010 and 2011 World Junior Curling Championships. Jiang Dongxu (; born March 3, 1993) is a Chinese curler from Harbin. He represented China at the 2022 Winter Olympics as the alternate on the Chinese men's team skipped by Ma Xiuyue. Wang Zhiyu (; born August 24, 1996, in Harbin) is a Chinese curler. He currently plays second on the Chinese men's curling team skipped by Ma Xiuyue. Zou Qiang
Zou Qiang (; born 13 August 1991 in Yichun) is a Chinese curler from Harbin. Career Juniors Zou skipped the Chinese team (which also consisted of Shao Zhilin, Zhang Tianyu and Liang Shuming), at the 2013 Pacific-Asia Junior Curling Championships to a gold medal. The team went 7-1 after the double round robin portion of the tournament, which put them in first place, and a bye to the final, where they faced off against South Korea.
