MV Avello
Avello was a Spanish manufacturer of machine tools, motorcycles and scooters, famous for its MV Agusta and Puch brand machines. It was founded by ''Alfredo Avello'' in 1940 and closed in March 2013. The factory was located in the city of Gijón in Asturias, northern Spain. MV Avello Basque industrial engineer, Alfredo Avello purchased an existing company in the Natahoyo neighbourhood of Gijón that produced machinery and machine tools on June 1, 1940, changing the name to ''Avello y Compañía SL.'' MV Augusta had been producing machine for local sale in Barcelona since 1949, branded MV Alpha. At a race held in Gijón, Avello approached MV's Spanish promoters and convinced them to transfer manufacture of the machines to his factory. Authi
The Authi car company of Pamplona, Spain, was founded in 1965 as a result of a collaboration between BMC (the British Motor Corporation) and NMQ ( Nueva Montaña Quijano). BMC needed a way to sell their cars in Spain, which at the time had strict rules to protect local automobile manufacturers from imported competitors and to protect local companies from foreign takeover. Thus, Authi built almost identical copies of a range of Austin and Morris cars. A four-stroke (also four-cycle) engine is an internal combustion (IC) engine in which the piston completes four separate strokes while turning the crankshaft. A stroke refers to the full travel of the piston along the cylinder, in either direction. The four separate strokes are termed: #Intake: Also known as induction or suction. A two-stroke (or two-stroke cycle) engine is a type of internal combustion engine that completes a power cycle with two strokes (up and down movements) of the piston during one power cycle, this power cycle being completed in one revolution of the crankshaft. MV Agusta 125 Pullman
} The MV Agusta 125 Pullman was a motorcycle produced by the Italian manufacturer MV Agusta from 1953 to 1956. The model achieved a good sales success, and had the highest production of any machine from MV Agusta. Many brought the bike as the only means of family transport or as a work vehicle. Despite the questionable aesthetics, the Pullman offered a comfortable ride, derived by the driving position, soft suspension and large section tires.
