''MTV Music'' was a 24-hour Australian and New Zealand subscription music channel which first launched on 3 December 2013. History On 29 October 2013, MTV announced they had been working with Foxtel since early 2013 to offer more diversity on the Foxtel platform, as their two current music dedicated channels – MTV Classic and MTV Hits – fought for the same audience as Foxtel Networks channels MAX and Hits respectively. As such, it was decided that ''MTV Classic'' and ''MTV Hits'' would cease broadcasting on the Foxtel platform to be replaced by two new MTV channels. The channel to replace ''MTV Hits'' was ''MTV Music'', the same name of the number one UK music channel, which will feature pop, rock, urban and alternative music. On 1 January 2014, ''MTV Music'' launched on Australian IPTV provider FetchTV. MTV Music is a British pay television channel operated by Paramount Networks UK & Australia. The brand was first launched in the UK and Ireland before launching in Australia, New Zealand, Italy, the Netherlands and Poland. Unlike other MTV Music channels, this channel offers subtitles on selected programmes. History Viacom International Media Network announced the introduction of a non-stop music channel in January 2011. As the main MTV brand has deviated from its original purpose and increased competition from other music channels and online services, MTV addressed this issue by launching a new music channel MTV Music. MTV Music (Italian TV Channel)
MTV Music is an Italian pay television music channel operated by Paramount Networks EMEAA. As the main MTV brand has deviated from its original purpose and increased competition from other music channels and online services, MTV launched a new music channel, MTV Music. The first version of the channel had launched in the United Kingdom and Ireland on 1 February 2011 replacing MTV Shows. The Italian version of the new channel then channel launched on 1 March 2011, replacing MTV Plus. It is expected that MTV may launch MTV Music channels in other regions under a new global strategy to simplify the branding used across territories. MTV Music (Polish TV Channel)
MTV Music (formerly VIVA) was a Polish 24h music and entertainment channel from Viacom International Media Networks Polska. The channel was launched on June 10, 2000 by the German VIVA Media AG. History On July 17, 2012 VIVA Poland switched to 16:9 picture format and started to use the new logo. Since then VIVA has broadcast more reality programmes like ''Excused''. Until July 17, 2012 the channel has broadcast FTA on Eutelsat Hot Bird 13A. In 2014, the station cancelled local production programmes. In 2015 - 2017, the station cancelled all reality programmes and continued playing only electronic dance music. Before the new broadcast schedule, the station was playing Polish and international pop, dance, rock and hip hop music. On 17 October 2017, the channel was rebranded into MTV Music in 12:12. MTV Music 24 (also called MTV Music) was a Pan-European music television channel operated by ViacomCBS Networks EMEAA. The channel was available in multiple countries across Europe. The programming consists of non-stop music videos 24-hours a day. The channel first launched in the Netherlands and Flanders in 2011. Since then the channel has rolled out across many parts of Europe including Germany and it is available in South Africa. In March 2020, the channel launched in Poland replacing the version of MTV Music Polska. MTV Hive was MTV's online music video portal and its editorial mouthpiece for coverage of indie music genres, providing music news and music on-demand. It is the successor to the former MTV Music website in the United States, which was merged into MTV Hive as of January 2012.
