MS4 Modeling Environment
MS4 Modeling Environment (MS4 Me) is a discrete event simulation system (DEVS) software developed by MS4 Systems, Inc. It has been used in the modeling of complex systems (such as a national health care system) and is also covered in a discrete event simulation and systems of systems modeling text. MS4 Me supports the development and simulation of DEVS models via a natural language or Java. Finite Deterministic DEVS (FDDEVS) models can also be quickly developed and analyzed. DEVS models can be composed into more complex systems via the use of System Entity Structures, and System Entity Structures can be composed into complex systems of systems for simulation. Many different configurations of these systems can be stored and simulated via the use of pruning. See also * Computer simulation * List of discrete event simulation software This is a list of notable discrete-event simulation A discrete-event simulation (DES) models the operation of a system as a ( discrete ...

Metal Slug 4
is a run and gun video game for the Neo-Geo console/arcade platform created by Mega Enterprise along with Noise Factory. It was released in 2002 for the Neo-Geo MVS arcade platform, and is the fourth game in the ''Metal Slug'' series. Two years later, Playmore published ''Metal Slug 4'' for consoles. ''Metal Slug 4'' retains the same gameplay as previous titles, with the addition of some enemies, bosses, weapons, several vehicles and a bonus combo system. It was ported to Xbox and PlayStation 2 as a stand-alone game in Japan and Europe, and along with ''Metal Slug 5'' as a compilation in North America and South Korea. The Nintendo Switch version was released in 2018. Gameplay A bonus scoring system was added that allows the player to be rewarded depending on how many enemies are killed in the time allotted. The time allotted is determined from the type of emblem that is picked up. A time meter will appear on the top of the screen, and if the player lives through the e ...

Mississippi's 4th Congressional District
Mississippi's 4th congressional district covers the southeastern region of the state. It includes all of Mississippi's Gulf Coast, stretching ninety miles between the Alabama border to the east and the Louisiana border to the west, and extends north into the Pine Belt region. It includes three of Mississippi's four most heavily populated cities: Gulfport, Biloxi, and Hattiesburg. Other major cities within the district include Bay St. Louis, Laurel, and Pascagoula. The people of the Mississippi's 4th are currently represented by Republican Steven Palazzo. During the 111th Congress, MS-4, along with Texas's 17th congressional district, was the most Republican district in the nation to be represented by a Democrat, with a Cook PVI of R+20. However, on November 2, 2010, the Democratic incumbents of both districts were defeated by their respective Republican challengers. State Representative Steven Palazzo defeated Democrat Gene Taylor by a 5% vote differential. From statehood t ...

Stormwater
Stormwater, also spelled storm water, is water that originates from precipitation (storm), including heavy rain and meltwater from hail and snow. Stormwater can soak into the soil ( infiltrate) and become groundwater, be stored on depressed land surface in ponds and puddles, evaporate back into the atmosphere, or contribute to surface runoff. Most runoff is conveyed directly as surface water to nearby streams, rivers or other large water bodies (wetlands, lakes and oceans) without treatment. In natural landscapes, such as forests, soil absorbs much of the stormwater. Plants also reduce stormwater by improving infiltration, intercepting precipitation as it falls, and by taking up water through their roots. In developed environments, such as cities, unmanaged stormwater can create two major issues: one related to the volume and timing of runoff (flooding) and the other related to potential contaminants the water is carrying (water pollution). In addition to the pollutants carr ...
