MRTV-4 (Myanmar)
MRTV-4 (Myanmar Radio and Television- 4) is a Burmese television channel jointly operated by MRTV and the Forever Group. Launched in May 2004, the channel broadcasts between 7am and 11pm. Since that time, it is only available to viewers with satellite or terrestrial DVB-T decoders. Now, they broadcast 24 hours and also available in OTT platform, PyonePlay. The channel is run under the Ministry of Information, and international news broadcasts undergo censorship. History In May 2004, MRTV-4 was broadcast a two hours a day program schedule with the cooperation of Myanmar Radio and Television under the Ministry of Information. In 2005, they were broadcast a six hours a day program schedule and broadcast free to air for Yangon and neighboring areas in 2006, for Mandalay and neighboring areas in 2007. In April 2009, MRTV-4 channel was broadcasting 18 hours a day. MRTV-4 became a 24-hours a day in September 2010.

Forever Group is a Burmese private media broadcasting company, with headquarters in Yangon, Myanmar. Forever Group is known for its close ties to the Burmese military. History Forever Group was founded in 1996 in Myanmar by Win Maw, a former sailor who established the company to import and distribute computer and computer components. In 2004, it launched a national free-to-air television channel, MRTV-4, as a joint venture with Myanmar's Ministry of Information and state-owned Myanmar Radio and Television. The joint venture was intended to become a pro-military outlet to counter local and foreign independent media. In 2008, it launched Mandalay FM, a radio station. In 2016, it partnered with Thaicom to boost HDTV coverage on a Thai satellite. In 2018, French-owned CANAL+ and Forever Group launched Canal+ (Myanmar) in the Burmese market. Myanmar's Got Talent
''Myanmar's Got Talent'' (MGT) is the Burmese version of the ''Got Talent'' franchise that is airing on MRTV-4. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers of all ages competing for a prize. It was broadcasting since 2014 and is now reaching its sixth season. The talent show was listed on ''The Myanmar Times'' "Top 10 Myanmar TV Shows" in 2019.
