MGP Junior (Danish TV Series)
MGP Junior (standing for Melodi Grand Prix) is a Danish song contest for children aged 8 to 15. It originated in 2000 as a spin-off of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, before coming the national selection for the now-extinct MGP Nordic in 2002 and from 2006 to 2009. From 2003 to 2005, MGP Junior was Denmark's national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, a pan-European version of the format. The songs are performed primarily in Danish and written by the participants themselves. Many past contestants have gone on to be renowned recording artists, such as 2002's Morten Fillipsen, 2003's Anne Gadegaard, and 2014's Emma Pi Hedeboe. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union. Barbara Moleko
Barbara Boitumelo Aersoe better known as Barbara Moleko (born in 1986) is a Danish singer and songwriter. Moleko was born in Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen to a South African father and a Danish mother. She spent her younger years in Mozambique. But when her parents divorced, she moved at the age of 12 with her mother to Denmark in 1998, to reside in Vanløse, a district of Copenhagen. Søren Nystrøm Rasted (born Søren Rasted on 13 June 1969) is a Danish musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He plays keyboards, guitar and sings backing vocals. He is a member of the Danish-Norwegian Eurodance group Aqua. Musical career Rasted was a member of the Danish pop-dance group Aqua. He and his fellow band member Claus wrote and produced the three Aqua albums ''Aquarium'', ''Aquarius'' and ''Megalomania''. Aqua was formed in 1994 and split up in 2001, but reunited in 2008. Ole Svane Thestrup (12 March 1948 – 2 February 2018) was a Danish actor. He appeared in many Danish films, particularly those directed by Anders Thomas Jensen, as well as television and theatre roles. He had a recurring role in the political drama series ''Borgen''. Early and personal life Ole Thestrup was born in Nibe, North Jutland, on 12 March 1948. He initially had ambitions to become a guitarist, before turning to acting. He joined Aarhus Theatre aged 25, completing his acting training in 1976. He later also worked at the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen.
