Müllheim Im Markgräflerland
Müllheim im Markgräflerland (, ; before May 2023: Müllheim; High Alemannic: ''Mille'') is a town in Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It belongs to the district Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald. Müllheim is generally considered to be the center of the region known as Markgräflerland. History On October 27, 758 Strachfried gave as a gift to the monastery of St. Gallen his properties in Müllheim, including the vineyards. This deed is in the archives of St. Gallen and it is where we today can find the first written reference to the "''villa Mulinhaimo''", which is the current city of Müllheim. Archeology shows however that Müllheim was inhabited even earlier than this. During the renovation of the Martin's church in 1980 and 1981 the workers came upon a portion of a Roman villa. It is assumed that it is the center of large Roman possessions in the region. Markgräflerland
Markgräflerland () is a region in the southwest of Germany, in the south of the States of Germany, German federal state of Baden-Württemberg, located between the Breisgau in the north and the Black Forest in the east; adjacent to west with France and in the south with Switzerland. History and geography The name translates to ''Margraves' Land'', in reference to the Margraves of Baden. They ruled the area from the 12th century as a margraviate of the Holy Roman Empire until its elevation to the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1806, following the Empire's dissolution. Markgräflerland is the combination of three lordships: Badenweiler, Burg Rötteln, Rötteln and Sausenburg. In 1556 the Markgraf (Margrave) became Protestantism, Protestant following the actions of the German monk Martin Luther. Joscha Kiefer (born 8 December 1982) is a German actor and best known for his role as Dominik Morgenstern on the series Soko München. Career He studied acting for three years in Stuttgart. In 2005 Joscha was seen on the Das Erste-Show ''Ein Fall für B.A.R.Z.''. One year later he had the main role in the motion picture ''Locked''. He played theater from 2004 to 2006. Ernst Krieck
Ernst Krieck (6 July 1882–19 March 1947) was a German teacher, writer, and professor. Along with Alfred Baeumler, Krieck was considered a leading National Socialist theoretical scientist. Life Before the Third Reich Krieck was born in 1882 in Vögisheim to a working-class family. He was unable to attend high school since he lacked the funds to do so. Therefore, after graduating from middle school, he enrolled in a teacher's college in Karlsruhe because it was his only option for furthering his education. In 1900, he entered the Baden elementary school district; in 1904, he was transferred to a school in Mannheim. During his work as an elementary school teacher, he began to criticize the dominant school system as being mechanical and too bureaucratic. Vevey
Vevey (; ; ) is a town in Switzerland in the Vaud, canton of Vaud, on the north shore of Lake Leman, near Lausanne. The German name Vivis is no longer commonly used.
