Voll Church
Voll Church ( no, Voll kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Voll in the Måndalen valley. It is the church for the Voll parish which is part of the Indre Romsdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1896 using plans drawn up by the architect Gabriel Smith from Ålesund. The church seats about 290 people, making it the largest church in Rauma. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to 1432, but it was not new that year. The first church in Voll was likely a stave church that was built in the 14th century. Voll, Møre Og Romsdal
Voll is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It existed from 1874 until its dissolution in 1964. The municipality encompassed the Måndalen and Innfjorden valleys west of the Romsdalsfjorden in the west-central part of the present-day Rauma Municipality. Rauma is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Romsdal. The administrative centre is the town of Åndalsnes. Other settlements in Rauma include the villages of Måndalen, Innfjorden, Veblungsnes, Verma, Isfjorden, Eidsbygda, Rødven, Åfarnes, and Mittet. Most settlement in the municipality is located along the fjords and in the Romsdalen valley. The municipality surrounds part of the southern end of Romsdalsfjorden and the Isfjorden and it also includes the Romsdalen valley and Romsdalsalpene mountains. Innfjorden
Innfjorden is a village in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is situated about southwest of the town of Åndalsnes and southeast of the village of Måndalen along the European Route E136 highway. The road from Åndalsnes to Innfjorden goes through the long Innfjord Tunnel, which opened in 1991 after a series of deaths caused by avalanches on the former road along the shore of Romsdal Fjord. The village has a population (2018) of 280 and a population density of . The local economy is mainly based on agriculture, while there is some industry and a few service companies relating to tourism, transportation, and road safety. is a town in Rauma Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Åndalsnes is in the administrative center of Rauma Municipality. It is located along the Isfjorden, at the mouth of the river Rauma, at the north end of the Romsdalen valley.
