Mátyás Győri (born 2 February 1997) is a Hungarian handball player for Tatabánya KC and the Hungarian national team. Career Club He made his debut in the first team in Balatonfüredi KSE in 2013, scoring 11 goals in 9 matches that season. In the 2014–15 season, he made 15 hits in the league in 14 matches and scored 13 goals in the EHF Cup group stage. Meanwhile, he closed above the 7-goal average in the youth team for the second time in a row. It became a stable frame member in the 2015–16 season. On 24 August 2015, it was announced that it had extended its contract until 2019. He did not fulfill his contract with Balatonfüredi KSE, because as it was officially announced in March 2017, he will be a player of Telekom Veszprém from next season, with whom he has a valid contract until the summer of 2021. 2017 Men's Junior World Handball Championship
The 2017 IHF Men's Junior World Championship was the 21st edition of the tournament, held in Algiers, Algeria from 18 to 30 July 2017. Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic On 16 August 2020, the match between Puskás Akadémia FC and Budapest Honvéd FC were postponed due to the fact that one player was tested positive for coronavirus. Teams Debrecen and Kaposvár finished the 2019–20 Nemzeti Bajnokság I in the last two places and thus were relegated to NB II division. Magyar Kupa (men's Handball)
Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end. The winner of the Hungarian cup get the right to participate in the next year's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, unless they secure a place in the EHF Champions League. If happens so, then the runners-up take the opportunity to represent Hungary in the forthcoming continental event for cup winners. Winners In 1954, 1955 and 1957, the cup was held on a grand scale.
