''Más de Mi Alma'' (English: ''More of My Soul'') is the fourth studio album recorded by Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solís. It was released by Fonovisa Records on May 29, 2001 (see 2001 in music). This album became his second number-one hit on the ''Billboard'' Top Latin Albums chart and received a nomination for Latin Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, Male at the 3rd Annual Latin Grammy Awards in 2002. Marco Antonio Solís
Marco Antonio Solís Sosa (born 29 December 1959) is a Mexican musician, singer, composer, and record producer. Born and raised in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Solís began his musical career at the age of six, performing part of Los Hermanitos Solís. In 1975 he co-founded Los Bukis, of which he was the lead vocalist and guitarist. The band split up after nearly two decades of success, with Solís pursuing a solo career. Solís released his first solo album, '' En Pleno Vuelo'' in 1996 by Fonovisa Records. Solís has been awarded five Latin Grammy Awards, two Lo Nuestro Awards, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and has been inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame. The 14th Lo Nuestro Awards ceremony, presented by Univision and honoring the best Latin music of 2001 and 2002, took place on February 7, 2002, at a live presentation held at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. The ceremony was broadcast in the United States and Latin America by Univision. During the ceremony, twenty-nine categories were presented. Mandolin
A mandolin ( it, mandolino ; literally "small mandola") is a stringed musical instrument in the lute family and is generally plucked with a pick. It most commonly has four courses of doubled strings tuned in unison, thus giving a total of 8 strings, although five (10 strings) and six (12 strings) course versions also exist.
