Mário Caetano Filho
Mário Caetano Filho, better known as Marinho (born 27 February 1955) is a Brazilian former professional football player who played as a centre-back. He is most well-known for his time at Flamengo beginning in 1980. Career Club career Marinho began his career in the youth academy of Londrina in 1973. He made his professional debut on 2 April 1975 as a substitute in a 1-0 victory over América (SP). In 1976 he was loaned to Umuarama and Linense but returned to Londrina that same year. Viewed as a valuable prospect, he caught the attention of São Paulo who he played for on loan in 1977. He only played 5 matches but made part of the team that won the 1977 Brazilian Championship. Still playing as a defender for Londrina, Marinho scored 6 goals in 1978 and 7 goals in 1979. He caught the attention of Flamengo manager Cláudio Coutinho who made his acquisition a priority. Carlos Alberto Gomes Parreira (born 27 February 1943) is a Brazilian former football Coach (sport), manager who holds the record for attending the most FIFA World Cup final tournaments as manager with six appearances. Carlos Mozer
José Carlos Nepomuceno Mozer (born 19 September 1960) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a central defender, and is a manager. In his career, he was mainly associated with Benfica in Portugal, which he represented in two separate spells. He also spent three years with French club Marseille. Mozer appeared for Brazil at the 1990 World Cup. Club career Born in Rio de Janeiro, Mozer starting playing for local Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, which he helped win the Copa Libertadores and the Intercontinental Cup, both in 1981. The 1981 Intercontinental Cup was an association football match between Liverpool of England and Flamengo of Brazil on 13 December 1981 at the National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. The annual Intercontinental Cup was contested between the winners of the European Cup and Copa Libertadores. Flamengo qualified for the Intercontinental Cup for the first time following their Copa Libertadores Cup success. Liverpool were also appearing in their first Intercontinental Cup.
