Myx Music Awards 2014 is the 9th installment of the Myx Music Awards. Just like the MMA 2012 and MMA 2013, fans can vote online through Myx website, Facebook and Twitter. Awards night was held on March 26, 2014. Gloc-9 leads other artists of having the most number of nominations with seven nominations. The song "Magda" won four awards making Gloc-9 and Rico Blanco the biggest winners of the awards night. Nominees and winners ''Winners are in bold text''. Jonalyn Viray
Jonalyn Roxas Viray (born November 15, 1989), better known by her stage name, Jona, is a Filipino singer and actress. She was the first '' Pinoy Pop Superstar'' grand winner. She was the lead singer of trio girl-group La Diva, alongside Maricris Garcia and Aicelle Santos following her career as a solo artist. The trio covered songs such as " I'm Yours", "Angels Brought Me Here", " Apologize" and " Stand Up for Love". Pedicab is a Filipino electronic rock group based in Manila formed in 2004. History Pedicab is composed of Diego Mapa ("Daddy Maps") on lead vocals and synths, Raimund Marasigan ("Sugar Raims") on synth bass and percussion, Mike Dizon ("Masterbeat") on drums and percussion, Jason Caballa ("J.Sonic") on guitar, and RA Rivera ("Just Toni") on synths, sampler, and percussion. Bamboo was a Filipino alternative rock band formed in 2003 by lead vocalist Bamboo Mañalac, bassist Nathan Azarcon, lead and rhythm guitarist Ira Cruz and drummer Vic Mercado. Band origin Francisco "Bamboo" Mañalac serves as the band's frontman. Ira Cruz, the band's guitarist claimed that the name of the band was not just derived from their vocalist's name but also from the word ''bamboo'', the characteristics of which are associated with strength and durability with an island feel to it. Franco (band)
Franco is a rock band from the Philippines, formed in 2008. The band had its beginnings as a supergroup with members from iconic Filipino bands, consisting of Franco Reyes (InYo) on vocals, Gabby Alipe (Urbandub) on guitar, 8 Toleran ( Queso) on guitar, Buwi Meneses (Parokya ni Edgar) on bass guitar, and JanJan Mendoza (Urbandub) on drums. UDD, shortened for Up Dharma Down, is a Filipino band formed in Manila in 2004.
