Mystery Mansion (1983 Film)
''Mystery Mansion'' is a 1983 family film directed by David E. Jackson and starring Dal McKennon, Greg Wynne and Randi Brown. Plot Susan (Randi Brown) and her brother Johnny (David Wagner) come across an old map that may be a clue in finding gold, while staying at their aunt and uncle's house. Susan has been having nightmares about Rachel, a young girl who vanished in 1889 from a nearby mansion when her parents were killed by bank robbers. The siblings make friends with Billy and soon began their search for the treasure as well as find out what happened to Rachel. Dallas McKennon
Dallas Raymond McKennon (July 19, 1919 – July 14, 2009), sometimes credited as Dal McKennon, was an American film, television and voice actor, who had a career lasting over 50 years. During World War II he served in the Army Signal Corps and was stationed in Alaska. Career Born near La Grande, Oregon, McKennon's best-known voice roles were Gumby for Art Clokey, Archie Andrews in several different '' Archie'' series for Filmation, and the primary voice of Buzz Buzzard in the ''Woody Woodpecker'' cartoons. In the early 1950s, McKennon created and hosted his own daily kids TV wraparound show, ''Space Funnies''/''Capt. Jet'', which was aired weekday mornings on KNXT (KCBS-TV) TV Ch. 2 in Los Angeles. William Loose
William George Loose (June 5, 1910 – February 22, 1991) was an American composer of film, cartoon and television soundtrack music and stock musical cues. Early life and career Born in Michigan, Loose became a staff musical arranger for an Omaha, Nebraska radio station. During World War II, he led the United States Army Air Forces Orchestra in New York. In the 1950s, Capitol Records represented several musical libraries. Capitol decided to assemble its own library in 1955, and when Nelson Riddle turned down the job of a composer of their musical cues, they hired Loose and John Seely. By 1957, Loose's music was played on no less than 24 different television shows a week; and as of the 1960s, some cues of his music were later used in theaters and drive-in theaters. Film companies such as National Screen Service and Filmack Studios later placed some of William's cues onto its soundtrack under its snipe works beginning in 1964. Pacific International Enterprises (PIE) was an American film production company and film distributor, founded by Arthur R. Dubs as a producer of family films. Pacific International Enterprises was a privately held company that had been in business for over thirty years as ''"A Universal Force in Family Film Entertainment"''. Their films have been continually licensed and re-licensed for television by various channels such as HBO, Disney, TNT, CBS and in over 100 countries worldwide. Many of the company's movies were filmed on location with outdoor scenery shots such as the state of Oregon in '' Sacred Ground'', the state of Utah in '' Windwalker'' and the state of Colorado for the three films of the ''Wilderness Family'' for example. The company went defunct on November 30, 2001, after filing for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The founder, Arthur R. Debs, died in June 2013.
