Myself (Jolin Tsai Album)
''Myself'' is the eleventh studio album by Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai. It was released on 13 August 2010, by Warner and Mars. Produced by Andrew Chen, Adia, and Paula Ma, ''Myself'' is primarily a pop and dance record. It was subject to mixed reviews from music critics; reviewers praised the album's dance-pop musical styles while others criticized the production of several of the tracks. Commercially, the album sold more than 65,000 copies in Taiwan and was the fourth best-selling album in the country during 2010. The music video of "Honey Trap" received a Golden Melody Award nomination for Best Music Video. To further promote the album, Tsai embarked on her third concert tour, the Myself World Tour, on 24 December 2010 at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan. ''One Million Star'' () is a television singing competition in Taiwan broadcast on China Television (CTV). It debuted on 5 January 2007, filling the 10pm to midnight time slot on Friday evenings. The show is hosted by Tao Ching-Ying (陶晶瑩) and is currently shown on Sundays from 8 to 10pm. The aim of the show is to gather talented young singers and find the one who has the best qualities to become a superstar. One Million Star launched the music careers of Mandopop artists such as Yoga Lin, Aska Yang, Wong JingLun and Jam Hsiao. G-Music Limited is a company built in 2002 by Rose Records and Tachung Records, both are the largest local music retails and wholesale chains in Taiwan. The physical retail arms have been kept separate, for different customer bases and brand identity, but the e-retailing, wholesale and distributor business is unified as Rose Tachung Records. The two chains originally teamed up to create Taiwan's popular music ranking, the G-Music Chart (Chinese: 風雲榜 ''fēngyúnbǎng''). The chains had around 60 locations in 2002.
