Myraida Chaves Carbia (March 12, 1960 – April 22, 2021) was a Puerto Rican show host, actress and television and theater producer. Chaves was the daughter of the well-known Puerto Rican actress, Awilda Carbia. Early life Chaves was the daughter of José R. Chaves and of Awilda Carbia, a Puerto Rican television actress. As a little girl, she attended Academia del Perpetuo Socorro in the San Juan, Puerto Rico, San Juan area of Miramar (Santurce), Miramar (a subdivision of the San Juan suburb of Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Santurce). During the early 1970s, at the tender age of ten, Chaves was given an opportunity to appear on Puerto Rican television for the first time, when she substituted her mom in a WAPA-TV, canal 4 show named ''La Hora de la Aventura'' (''Time for Adventure''), where she played her mom's character's (''Estrella Galaxia'') daughter, ''Estrellita''. Braulio Castillo Jr. (born August 30, 1958) is a Puerto Rican actor and radio host. He is the son of Braulio Castillo, an actor across Latin America, and the brother of the lesser known Jorge Castillo, also a television and theater actor. Biography For a short time during the 1970s, he was first known in Puerto Rico doing newsbreaks for WKBM-TV Channel 11 in Caguas, now Univision O&O WLII. Castillo reached national fame in Puerto Rico when he participated in the 1984 Spanish soap opera ''Coralito'' at San Juan-based WKAQ-TV Channel 2. Marisol Calero
Marisol Calero (born 13 September 1963) is a Puerto Rican actress and singer. Early years Calero was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on 13 September 1963. As a child, Calero participated in school performances at the Academia del Perpetuo Socorro and briefly in the San Juan Children's Choir. As a teenager she attended the Escuela Libre de Música (Free School of Music) in San Juan where she continued to participate in the dramatic arts. She studied singing from the age of 14 under the sopranos Rina de Toledo, Vilna Echenique and Darysabel Isales. WIPR-TV (channel 6) is a non-commercial educational public television station in San Juan, Puerto Rico, owned by the '' Corporación de Puerto Rico para la Difusión Pública'' (English: Puerto Rico Public Broadcasting Corporation). Paquito Cordero (October 16, 1932 – June 30, 2009), was a pioneer of Puerto Rican television. He was also a comedian and a musical and television producer. Early years Cordero (birth name: Francisco Cordero Baez) was born to Francisco Cordero Paco and Berta Baez de Cordero in Santurce, Puerto Rico. Cordero attended Santurce Central High School upon finishing his primary and secondary education. He was a member of his high school's drama club and participated in its plays, where he discovered the art of comedy. Cordero was geatly influenced by his aunt on his father's side, Mapy Cortés. An infomercial is a form of television commercial that resembles regular TV programming yet is intended to promote or sell a product, service or idea. It generally includes a toll-free telephone number or website. Most often used as a form of direct response television (DRTV), they are often ''program-length commercials'' (long-form infomercials), and are typically 28:30 or 58:30 minutes in length.
