Myles Cole
Myles Cole (born April 29, 2000) is an American professional football defensive end for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks and Texas Tech Red Raiders. Career Cole attended Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. He committed to the University of Louisiana at Monroe to play college football. Cole played at Louisiana-Monroe from 2018 to 2021. In 34 games, he had 41 tackles and 1.5 sacks. After the 2021 season, he transferred to Texas Tech University. In two years at Texas Tech, he played in 25 games and had 44 tackles and 3.5 sacks. Cole participated in the 2024 Senior Bowl and 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man line defense, seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an "end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style. Louisiana–Monroe Warhawks Football Players
The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) is a public university in Monroe, Louisiana. It is part of the University of Louisiana System. History ULM opened in 1931 as Ouachita Parish Junior College. Three years later it became the Northeast Center of Louisiana State University. In 1936 and 1937, its dean was Stephen A. Caldwell. Its name changed again in 1949, to Northeast Junior College of Louisiana State University. A year later, it became an autonomous four-year institution as Northeast Louisiana State College.
