Mykhailo Zabrodskyi
Mykhailo Vitaliyovych Zabrodskyi (; born 24 January 1973) is a Ukrainian politician and retired military officer. A member of the European Solidarity party, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada in the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election, 2019 election. Zabrodskyi is a former commander of the Ukrainian Airmobile Forces, a lieutenant general, and a Hero of Ukraine. He commanded the 95th Airmobile Brigade (Ukraine), 95th Airmobile Brigade during the War in Donbas (2014–2022), War in Donbass, during which it conducted Great Raid of 2014, a 470-kilometer raid 170 kilometers into Russian and separatist-held territory. Dnipro, previously called Dnipropetrovsk from 1926 until May 2016, is Ukraine's fourth-largest city, with about one million inhabitants. Sloviansk ( uk, Слов'янськ, Sloviansk ; russian: Славянск, Slavyansk or ; prior to 1784 – Tor) is a city in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, the administrative center of the Slovyansk urban community. 2015 Ukrainian Local Elections
On 25 October 2015 local elections took place in Ukraine. The elections were conducted a little over a year since the 2014 2014 Ukrainian local elections, snap local elections, which were only held throughout parts of the country. A second round of voting for the election of mayors in cities with more than 90,000 residents where no candidate gained more than 50% of the votes were held on 15 November 2015. Because of the ongoing War in Donbas (2014–2022), conflict in East Ukraine and the February 2014 Annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, annexation of Crimea by Russia, local elections were not conducted throughout all of the administrative subdivisions of Ukraine.
