Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (MYDIN) is Malaysia's largest homegrown Halal hypermarket and retail chain. MYDIN was founded in August 1957 by the late Tuan Mydin Mohamed in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The first shop was a small wooden shop in Jalan Tok Hakim, Kota Bharu namely Syarikat Mydin Mohamed started the business by selling toys and general goods. With the help of his children, he expanded the business in Kuala Terengganu in 1979 and later marked a step further by the opening of its first branch in Klang Valley at Jalan Masjid India in 1989. With the company vision to become the world's leading distributor of competitive Halal Goods and Services, the company has then grown tremendously to present day. Subang Jaya is a city in Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia. It comprises the southern third district of Petaling. Rawang, Selangor
Rawang is a town and a mukim in Gombak District, Selangor, Malaysia, about 23 km northwest of city centre Kuala Lumpur. History Rawang was founded in the early-19th century and was one of Kuala Lumpur earliest satellite towns. During the initial tin mining growth of Kuala Lumpur, many tin mines were explored and opened north of Kuala Lumpur, starting initially at the Ulu Kelang area and gradually moving northwards past Selayang and towards Rawang. UEP Subang Jaya (commonly called "USJ") is a major affluent township located in Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located within the Mukim (sub-district) of Damansara in the district of Petaling. History The construction of USJ started in 1988 after the completion of Subang Jaya (started in the 1970s). USJ consists of SS12 to SS19. In the late 1990s, many new developments were growing rapidly in USJ.
