Myagde Rural Municipality
Myagde Rural Municipality (Myagde Gaupalika) (Nepali language, Nepali: म्याग्दे गाउँपालिका) is a Gaunpalika in Tanahun District, Tanahaun District in Gandaki Province of Nepal. On 12 March 2017, the government of Nepal implemented a new local administrative structure, in which Village development committee (Nepal), VDCs have been replaced with municipal and Village Councils. Myagde is one of these 753 local units. Demographics At the time of the 2011 Nepal census, Myagde Rural Municipality had a population of 22,502. Of these, 67.0% spoke Nepali language, Nepali, 22.3% Magar language, Magar, 7.2% Newar language, Newar, 2.7% Gurung language, Gurung, 0.1% Bhojpuri language, Bhojpuri, 0.1% Kumhali language, Kumhali, 0.1% Tamang language, Tamang, 0.1% Tharu languages, Tharu, 0.1% Urdu and 0.2% other languages as their first language. Nepal Time
Nepal Standard Time (NPT) is the time zone for Nepal. With a time offset from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) of UTC+05:45 all over Nepal, it is one of only three time zones with a 45-minute offset from UTC.The others are Chatham Island Standard Time, with an offset of UTC+12:45, and the unofficial Australian Central Western Time, with an offset of UTC+08:45. NPT is an approximation of Kathmandu mean time, which is 5:41:16 ahead of UTC. The standard meridian passes through the peak of Gaurishankar mountain about east of Kathmandu. Nepal used local solar time until 1920, in Kathmandu UTC+05:41:16. In 1920, Nepal adopted Indian Standard Time, UTC+05:30. In 1986 Nepal advanced their clocks by 15 minutes, giving them a time zone of UTC+05:45.
