My Way Home (Scrubs)
"My Way Home" is the seventh episode of season five and the 100th episode of the American comedy drama ''Scrubs''. It originally aired on January 24, 2006 on NBC. The episode's references to '' The Wizard of Oz'' were called a "sly, circuitous homage" when ''Scrubs'' received a Peabody Award in 2006 for "fearlessly smashing traditional comic formulas, all the while respecting the deepest emotional and moral issues of its life-and-death setting." Plot On his day off, J.D. gets called into work by Keith. It turns out that Dr. Cox told Keith to call J.D. to let him see what it feels like to be pestered over little things, as J.D. had done to Cox as an intern. Laverne's gospel choir is also present, singing a song called "Payback is a Bitch". Elliot is basking in the warmth of being seen as an endocrinology expert by her interns. In reality, however, around the hospital she is hiding pages of notes and books with the answers on them. Turk attempts to convince a family to take their ...

On My Way Home (song)
"On My Way Home" is a song by Irish new-age artist Enya. It was released as the second and final single from her fourth studio album, ''The Memory Of Trees'' (1995). The song achieved minor success, reaching #26 on the UK Singles Chart in December 1996, but in Brazil, it was a top 5 hit, reaching number four. According to Enya, the song is about "those wonderful memories and fond moments that you have when you're on your way home", and wished to present a positive feel in the chorus. The song contains samples from two other Enya songs, " Book of Days" and "Orinoco Flow". Critical reception Larry Flick from '' Billboard'' described the song as a "sweeping excursion into soothing new-age pop." He added, "Enya's dreamy, angelic voice is sewn into a quasi-classical arrangement of strings and acoustic guitars. Her performance ultimately grounds the song, as the music takes flight and winds through countless highs and lows. An excellent way to ring in the holiday season without resorti ...

The recording sessions also featured guest contributions from Adam Levine, Jamie Foxx, Common, Brandy, Jay-Z, and Nas, among others. Drawing creative inspiration from alternative acts such as Fiona Apple and Portishead, he experimented with musical shifts, string arrangements, and a variety of instruments not usually associated with hip hop, including a celesta, harpsichord, and Chinese bells. In an effort to write authentic yet relatab ...
