My Turn (EP)
''My Turn'' is the debut EP by Swedish singer and songwriter John Lundvik. It was released on 10 May 2019 by Warner Music Sweden. The EP includes the singles " My Turn" and " Too Late for Love". The EP peaked at number 39 on the Swedish Albums Chart. Critical reception Scandipop.co.uk gave the EP a positive review stating, "All very different from each other. ‘Loving You’ sounds like it could have been Margaret's next Melodifestivalen entry, ‘Sucker For Ya’ is an up-tempo, rousing, retro-soul jam, and ‘Say I Do’ is the soppy ballad we were all expecting to be on here. They're all pretty excellent, actually, what with him being a dab hand at the ol’ songwriting lark. But our personal fave (of the new ones at least) is ‘Loving You’. It sounds like his next big hit." John Lundvik
John Lundvik (; born 27 January 1983) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, and former sprinter. He was part of the athletic team for IFK Växjö. Lundvik also has a singing and songwriter career having composed songs for films and the Wedding of Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden, and Daniel Westling in 2010. In 2018, he competed in Melodifestivalen with his song " My Turn", finishing in 3rd place. He represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with " Too Late for Love" finishing fifth. In the same contest he represented the United Kingdom as one of the songwriters for the song " Bigger Than Us" performed by Michael Rice, which finished last in the grand final. "Too Late for Love" is a song by Swedish singer John Lundvik. The song was performed for the first time in Melodifestivalen 2019, where it made it to the final. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list. Melodifestivalen 2018 was the 58th edition of the Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen, which selected Sweden's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The competition was organised by Sveriges Television (SVT) and took place over a six-week period between 3 February and 10 March 2018. The format of the competition consists of 6 shows: 4 heat rounds, a second chance round and a final. The Eurovision Song Contest 2019 was the 64th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Tel Aviv, Israel, following the country's victory at the 2018 contest with the song " Toy" by Netta.
