''My Side of the Street'' is the twelfth studio album by Australian recording artist Adam Brand. The album was released on 8 August 2014 and peaked at number 5 on the ARIA charts. Upon release Brand said "I went into the studio this time around with no rulebook whatsoever. I just went in there with the songs that spoke to me the most, and with no pre-conceived ideas as to how it was supposed to sound." Brand toured the album commencing in Sale, Victoria on 3 September 2014 and ending in Ravenswood, Queensland on 19 October 2014. Adam Brand (born 27 January 1970) is an Australian country singer-songwriter. Brand released his debut album in 1997. He has since released 14 studio albums and has won 12 Country Music Awards of Australia. Adam Brand has been voted ''CMC Oz Artist of the Year'' five consecutive years between 2007 – 2011. Early life Adam Brand was born on 27 January 1970 in Perth, Western Australia. Travis Meadows (born 1965) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He has released four albums and written a number of songs for other country artists. Early life Meadows was born in 1965 in Mississippi, growing up in Jackson. He began using drugs at an early age, and at 14 was diagnosed with bone cancer, which led to the loss of most of his right leg. Ben Hayslip (born March 11, 1970 in Evans, Georgia) is an American country music songwriter. Early life Hayslip first attended Valdosta High School in Valdosta GA where he was a freshman quarterback for the 1984 State and National champion Valdosta Wildcats. In 1985 his family relocated to Evans, Georgia where Hayslip attended Evans High School near Augusta, Georgia.
