''My Name Is Puck'' (Swedish: ''Puck heter jag'') is a 1951 Swedish comedy film directed by Schamyl Bauman and starring Sickan Carlsson, Karl-Arne Holmsten and Naima Wifstrand.Qvist & Von Bagh p.39 It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Bibi Lindström. Schamyl Bauman
Magnus Schamyl Bauman (4 December 1893 – 28 February 1966) was a Swedish film director (in 1931-57). Born in Vimmerby, Småland. First studied law and modern languages at Uppsala University. In 1917 he began to work with translating text lines for international silent films (to Swedish), which he did successful throughout the 1920s. In this way he watched many different films by some of the best silent film directors in the world which started an interest in filmmaking and in the arts of film. In 1929-30 he started the film company Europafilm with Gustaf Scheutz where he made some of his early films as a director. He later started a company with the influential film personality and business man Anders Sandrew in 1939, ''AB Sandrew-Bauman Film'', where he made his most successful films, among others his popular " Sickan Carlsson-films", where his most popular and critically praised film was the 1949 comedy ''Skolka skolan (Playing Truant)'' with Carlsson in the lead. Jan Molander
Jan Göran Gustaf Harald Molander (2 April 1920 – 30 June 2009) was a Swedish people, Swedish actor and film director who had a decades-long dominant career in his country's film and television industry. A native of Stockholm, Jan Molander was the son of actor/director Gustaf Molander and Elsa Fahlberg and the half-brother of director and producer Harald Molander from his father's first marriage to actress Karin Molander. From 1942 to 1945 he was a pupil at the Royal Dramatic Training Academy and made his film debut playing a student in 1944's critically acclaimed ''Hets'' (''Torment (1944 film), Torment''), directed by Alf Sjöberg and written by the film's assistant director Ingmar Bergman.
