"My Name" is a song by British singer McLean. It was released on 8 March 2010 on CD and 5 March 2010 on digital download. The track has been remixed by many other British artists. It is thought that the producer of the song is Fraser T Smith, but was also originally produced by Slick and Magic in London. The song was completed in Los Angeles by Dylan "3D" Dresdow, the mix engineer that also mixed The Black Eyed Peas hit singles off their latest album, ''The E.N.D.''. Singer Iyaz produced a song named 'So Big' that has the same melody. Reception BBC chart blog's Fraser McAlpine gave a fair review for the song: I don't know how the people who made this record ever got through it. McLean (born Anthony McLean, 24 June 1980) is an English singer from Dagenham, east London. He was signed to Asylum Records and then Atlantic Records. His debut single "Broken" was released on 26 October 2009. The song was produced by The Schizofreniks and first released independently on 26 March 2007 on Schizofreniks Records, and has since then accrued over 20 million hits across major social networking sites, including YouTube and MySpace. Boy Better Know, often abbreviated as BBK, is a British grime collective and record label. The collective was founded in North London in 2005 as an independent record label by brothers Jamie and Joseph Adenuga, better known as Jme, and Skepta. The first of them also serves as a sole owner and director of an associated company, ''Boy Better Know Limited'', incorporated in 2008. All members of the collective use the record label as a means to publish their music, and is digitally distributed by The Orchard, a subsidiary of Sony Music. Ian Harshman (September 13, 1975 – August 19, 2021), better known by his stage name Ian Carey, was an American house DJ, musician, and record producer based in Miami, Florida. Biography Carey grew up in Hancock, Maryland, graduating from Hancock Middle-Senior High School in 1993.
