The Television Personalities are an English post-punk band formed in 1977 by London singer-songwriter Dan Treacy.Earp, Joseph.The Missing Man Of Music: A Search For The Elusive Dan Treacy Of Television Personalities. Domino Recording Company or simply Domino is a British independent record label based in London. There is also a wing of the label based in Brooklyn, New York that handles releases in the United States, as well as a German division called Domino Deutschland and a French division called Domino France. In addition, Stephen Pastel presides over the subsidiary label Geographic Music, which releases more 'unusual' music from Britain and outside of the Western world. In 2011, the company announced that it was beginning a book publishing division, The Domino Press. History Founded in 1993, by Laurence Bell and Jacqui Rice, the label's first release was the Sebadoh EP '' Rocking the Forest'', licensed from Sub Pop records for release in the UK. ''Are We Nearly There Yet?'' is an album by the indie band Television Personalities. It was released in the United Kingdom on 20 February 2007. The album contains new tracks along with covers of Bruce Springsteen and The Killers. It is made up of unreleased recordings from the summer of 2005, the period just after Dan Treacy's release from prison and preceding his Domino recordings. Critical reception ''CMJ New Music Monthly'' wrote that "it's too easy to castigate Treacy's music as 'outsider art', but on his recent outings it's clear that the man's just figuring out how to adjust to normal life." Alan McGee, in ''The Guardian'', called the album a "dark" classic. ''Record Collector'' wrote that "a righteously shambolic cover of The Killers’ "Mr. Brightside" is a triumphant mess, and a highpoint in an album of lows." It catalogs more than three million album entries and 30 million tracks, as well as information on musicians and bands. Mathew Sawyer
Mathew John Sawyer (born 1977, Hammersmith, England) is a British visual artist and musician, who lives and works in London. Sawyer studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design and the Royal College of Art in London. His band Mathew Sawyer and The Ghosts were signed to Fire Records. They have three albums available: ''Blue Birds Blood'' (2007) originally released on Stolen Recordings and Catbird Records (US), ''How Snakes Eat'' (2010) and ''Sleep Dreamt A Brother'' (2013). Dominoes is a family of tile-based games played with gaming pieces, commonly known as dominoes. Each domino is a rectangular tile, usually with a line dividing its face into two square ''ends''. Each end is marked with a number of spots (also called '' pips'' or ''dots'') or is blank. The backs of the tiles in a set are indistinguishable, either blank or having some common design.
