''My Brother Khosrow'' ( fa, برادرم خسرو, transit. ''Baradram Khosro'') is a 2016 Iranian psychological film directed by Iranian director Ehsan Biglari. It is written by Parisa Hashempor and Ehsan Biglari himself. It produced by Saeid Malekan starring Shahab Hosseini as its leading cast. This film which was its director's debut, was selected to be appeared in the ''New Look Section'' of the Fajr International Film Festival and screened on cinemas at May 2017. It is a film about bipolar disorder and its consequences, which received a lot of controversial criticism among Iranian film critics. Story Khosrow (Shahab Hosseini), is the leading character of the film, has the bipolar disorder which is a mental disorder, and per his situation he has to stay for a while in his brother's (Nasser) house who is a dentist. Seyyed Shahabedin Hosseini Tonekaboni ( fa, سید شهاب الدین حسینی تنکابنی; born February 3, 1974) is an Iranian actor, producer and director. He is known for his collaborations with Iranian Academy Award-winning director Asghar Farhadi in ''About Elly'' (2009), ''A Separation'' (2011), and '' The Salesman'' (2016). His accolades include a Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actor, a Silver Bear for Best Actor and a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actor. Early life Shahab Hosseini was born on February, 3rd, 1974 in Tehran. He earned his high school diploma in Biology. He dropped out of the University of Tehran as a psychology student and emigrated to Canada. Later, he became a radio host in Iran, and hosted a TV show for youth. Hengameh Ghaziani ( fa, هنگامه قاضیانی; born 20 May 1970) is an Iranian actress and translator. She has received various accolades, including two Crystal Simorgh, a Hafez Award and an Iran Cinema Celebration Award. She got arrested by the Iranian government in November 2022 during Mahsa Amini protests for publicly supporting the protesters. Biography Hengameh Ghaziani was born on 20 May 1970 in Mashhad, Iran. She has a BA in Human-Economic Geography from Islamic Azad University in Mashhad and Shahre-Rey, and has also studied Western Philosophy at San Francisco University.
