Muzammil Siddiqi
Muzammil H. Siddiqi ( hi, मुज़म्मिल हुसैन सिद्दिक़ी) (born 1943) is an Indian American Muslim writer who has been on the faculty of Chapman University. Education Born in India in 1943, Siddiqi received his early education at Aligarh Muslim University and Darul-uloom Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow, India. He graduated from the Islamic University of Medina in Saudi Arabia in 1965 with a higher degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies. Siddiqi received an M.A. in Theology from Birmingham University in England, and a Ph.D. in Comparative Religion from Harvard University in the United States. Career Siddiqi was Chairman of the Religious Affairs Committee of the Muslim Students Association in the United States and Canada, and he also served as Director of the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C. Rampur ( ) is a city, and the municipality headquarter of Rampur District in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It was formerly known for its various industries, like sugar refining and cotton milling. Its library has more than 12,000 rare manuscripts and a fine collection of Mughal Empire, Mughal miniature paintings.It is located 322 kilometres north-west of the state capital Lucknow.
