Engines were also supplied to other automobile manufacturers. Vehicles Vehicles were built on a Malicet et Blin (M.A.B.) chassis, equipped with an in-house engine. One model had a 30 hp four-cylinder engine. In 1902 they offered two, three and four-seat models. Malicet Et Blin
Malicet & Blin (M.A.B.) was a French manufacturer of bicycles, automobiles, auto components, and aeronautical engines from 1890 until 1925. It expanded into the motor industry in 1897 and aero engines in 1914. They produced both incomplete and entire cars for the UK market, which were badged as Marlborough.Linz, Schrader: The International Motor encyclopaedia. History Paul Malicet and Eugène Blin founded the company in 1890 to manufacture bicycles in the north east Paris suburb of Aubervilliers. By 1897 they had increased their range to include motor car accessories and components such as chassis and steering gear, where they became one of the leaders in France. By 1903 they produced complete cars which were badged ''Malicet & Blin'', but production was limited. In 1901 the name was changed to Lacoste & Battmann and 1905 in Lacoste & Battmann Ltd. The company sold limited numbers of finished vehicles under its own name, and via its own marques: Cupelle (1905) and L & B. Elswick (automobile)
The Elswick was an English automobile produced in Newcastle upon Tyne from 1903 until 1907. It was a car built mainly from bought-in parts. The front featured a round radiator. In 1904 the range offered included a 6 hp single-cylinder model with De Dion-Bouton engine, a 20 hp with Brouhot 4-cylinder and 24 hp with a Mutel engine. By 1906 the 20 and 24 hp models seem to have been dropped and alongside the 6 hp single were the four-cylinder 15/20 hp and 24/30 hp and a six-cylinder engine of 26/30 hp.
