Mustafa Al-Ansari
Mustafa Abdulkader Aabed al-Ansari ( ar, مصطفى عبدالقادر عابد الأنصاري, ) was a Saudi national who organized and died in the 2004 Yanbu attack in Saudi Arabia. He was also the son-in-law of Yemeni al Qaeda operative Ahmad Mohammad Ali al-Hada. During the 1990s he fought in Afghanistan and Bosnia. February 12, 2002 Yemeni terror alert On February 11, 2002, al-Ansari was named in a suspected Yemen plot, for which he was among 17 suspected terrorists added to the FBI's third major "wanted" list, the " Seeking Information" list. By February 2003, the FBI removed 6 suspects already jailed rearranged its wanted lists. al-Ansari was one of the remaining eleven Yemen plot suspects. By 2006, al-Ansari had been archived and removed from the FBI's current main wanted page, and were no longer included in the official count of suspects. 2004 Yanbu Attack
The 2004 Yanbu attack was an attack by gunmen against Westerners on May 1, 2004, in Yanbu' al Bahr, Saudi Arabia. At least four militants used security passes to access a local petrochemical plant. Once on the grounds of the facility, they stormed the offices of the Texas-based ABB Lummus and killed seven people. Two were Americans, two were British, one was Australian and one was a Saudi National Guard member. A Canadian worker died on May 15 of his wounds. The attackers were believed to be linked to Al Qaeda, though Crown Prince Abdullah, then de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, disputed these claims at the time. From 2003 to 2004, militants carried out attacks against the Saudi government and foreigners living there in an effort to topple the monarchy. Al Qaeda
Al-Qaeda (; , ) is an Islamic extremist organization composed of Salafist jihadists. Its members are mostly composed of Arabs, but also include other peoples. Al-Qaeda has mounted attacks on civilian and military targets in various countries, including the 1998 United States embassy bombings, the September 11 attacks, and the 2002 Bali bombings; it has been designated as a terrorist group by the United Nations Security Council, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the European Union, India, and various other countries. Ahmad Mohammad Ali Al-Hada
Ahmad Mohammad Ali al-Hada is an al-Qaeda operative from Yemen whose family is described by Federal government of the United States, US government officials as a Clandestine cell system, "supercell" within the al-Qaeda network. Early life and Al-Qaeda Al-Hada is native of Dhamar Governorate, and is a veteran of Soviet–Afghan War, where he met Osama Bin Laden. It's reported that al-Hada was a close friend of Bin Laden. From 1996 til 2006, was operating along with his son, Samir Al-Hada, an Qaeda safe house and a communication center in Sana'a, which was the direct link from AQ central to Yemen. He was captured by the Yemeni government in 2006, but was set free, possibly after a tribal deal. As of 2007, his whereabouts are unknown.
