Mussanjemaatu
''Mussanjemaatu'' is a 2008 Indian Kannada-language romance film starring Sudeep and Ramya (actress), Ramya. The film was directed by Mussanje Mahesh. The movie is produced by Suresh Jain. The music of the film was launched on 4 April 2008. The movie was released on 16 May 2008 in India. It was released in the United States and in Toronto on 30 November 2008. The movie was remade in Bengali language, Bengali as ''Achena Prem'' which released on 8 July 2011. Plot The film revolves around the life of a Radio Jockey, Pradeep (Sudeep), who runs a radio programme called "Mussange Maathu" for depressed people. Tanu (Ramya) is a depressed girl who comes to Bangalore to live with her friend (Anu) and to find a new life. One day she calls Pradeep's radio programme and becomes very impressed by his suggestion. Ramya (actress)
Divya Spandana (born 29 November 1982), better known by her screen name Ramya, is an Indian actress and politician. She served as the Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from Mandya, Karnataka. She primarily works in Kannada, alongside Tamil language films. Ramya is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards South, an Udaya Award, and a Karnataka State Film Award. Kunal Ganjawala
Kunal Ganjawala (born 14 April 1972) is an Indian playback singer whose songs are mostly featured in Hindi and Kannada films. He has also sung in Marathi, Bengali and other official languages of India. Kunal began his career by singing jingles. ''Achena Prem'' is a 2011 Bengali language, Bengali Romance film, romantic film directed by Swapan Saha and produced under the banner of Maa Kali Films. The movie is an unofficial remake of hit Kannada movie ''Mussanjemaatu''. Surprisingly the fact that it is a remake of the Kannada cinema, Kannada movie has not been mentioned either on the Achena Prem's official website or in other reviews/articles on the internet. Sumithra (born 18 September 1953) is an Indian actress. She has appeared in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu language films. She acted as the lead heroine in films between 1974 and 1986.
