''Musicals in Ahoy'' was a musical show that took place in 2002 in "Ahoy'" in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was produced by Stage Entertainment/Joop van den Ende Theatreproductions. There were seven shows in a row, with 15.000 sold seats every night. It was a song and dance extravaganza supported by the Dutch Musical Ensemble. In 2004 they revived this concept with the show ''Musicals in Ahoy 2004, Musical meets Movie''. A run of nine shows. In 2006 they revived this concept again. Pia Douwes (born 5 August 1964) is a Dutch actress in musical theatre in Europe. She is best known for having created the title role in the German-language musical '' Elisabeth''. Biography Douwes was born in Amsterdam, North Holland, The Netherlands, as ''Petronella Irene Allegonda Douwes'', to an arts dealer and a social worker, and is the grandniece of Doris Day. Initially Douwes wanted to become a nurse for mentally handicapped children, then she danced in a disco when she was 19 years old and realised that she wanted to dance. Dennis "Danny" de Munk (born 19 February 1970 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch actor, singer, musical actor and former child star. Career De Munk started acting at the age of 13 as the leading role in the film Ciske de Rat (Ciske the Rat), directed by Guido Pieters, starring Herman van Veen as teacher and Willeke van Ammelrooy as mother. Bastiaan Johannes Ragas (born 30 June 1971) is a Dutch singer and actor. Born in Lisse, he was the youngest of three brothers. Ragas learnt piano and guitar at school. He also participated and traveled with the international musical group Up With People during their 1989-1990 tour. He first came into the public eye as a member of the Anglo-Dutch boy band Caught in the Act in the 1990s. Caught in the Act broke up in 1998 and Ragas embarked on a solo career. Mathilde Santing (born Mathilde Eleveld, 24 October 1958) is a Dutch singer. Santing was born in Amstelveen, Netherlands. She started receiving national attention in 1981 after she appeared in a Dutch television program called ''Sonja Op Maandag'' hosted by Sonja Barend. Over the next 25 years, she released a steady stream of albums, making her a fixture in the Dutch music scene. In 1986 she won the BV Popprijs at Noorderslag in Groningen.
