Musheer Khan
Musheer Khan (born 27 February 2005) is an Indian cricketer who plays for Mumbai. He made his first-class cricket debut on 27 December 2022 for Mumbai in the 2022–23 Ranji Trophy. As a right-handed batsman all-rounder, Khan represented the 2024 Under-19 Cricket World Cup as a member of the Indian U-19 cricket team. In December 2023, he was selected for the 2024 ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup squad for the Indian U-19 youth team. Indian team finished runner's up in the tournament in which Khan scored two centuries. In March 2024, Musheer broke Sachin Tendulkar's record to become the youngest Mumbai batter to score a hundred in the Ranji Trophy final. In September 2024, he debut in Duleep Trophy for India B against India A at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In his debut match Musheer Khan hits his third First-Class century. 2022–23 Ranji Trophy
The 2022–23 Ranji Trophy is the 88th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament in India. It is being played from 13 December 2022 and scheduled to finish on 20 February 2023. Madhya Pradesh are the defending champions, winning their first Ranji Trophy title previous season.Madhya Pradesh previously competed in the Ranji Trophy as Holkar cricket team, winning the tournament four times between 1945–46 and 1952–53. Azad Maidan
Azad Maidan (formerly known as ''Bombay Gymkhana Maidan'') is a triangular-shaped maidan (sports ground) in the city of Mumbai, India. It is located on of land near the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station. It is a regular venue for inter-school cricket matches. The name ''Azad'' means "liberty" in Persian. The Duleep Trophy, also known as Mastercard Duleep trophy due to sponsorship reasons, is a domestic first-class cricket competition played in India. Named after Kumar Shri Duleepsinhji of Nawanagar (also known as 'Duleep'), the competition was originally contested by teams representing geographical zones of India. Since 2016–17 it has been played by teams chosen by BCCI selectors. West Zone are the current champions. The Indian Under-19 cricket team represents the nation of India in cricket at Under-19 level. All-rounder
An all-rounder is a cricketer who regularly performs well at both batting and bowling. Although all bowlers must bat and quite a handful of batsmen do bowl occasionally, most players are skilled in only one of the two disciplines and are considered specialists. First-class cricket, along with List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket, is one of the highest-standard forms of cricket. A first-class match is one of three or more days' scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players each and is officially adjudged to be worthy of the status by virtue of the standard of the competing teams.
