The Museum of Recent Art ( ro, Muzeul de Artă Recentă, or MARe) is a contemporary art museum in Bucharest, Romania. The museum's collection comprises more than 150 artworks in a five-level, 1200 square meter facility located in Primăverii district in Bucharest. The word ''recent'' primarily refers to the temporal coverage of the collection, which encompasses Romanian art from the post-Stalinist period to the present day. However, international art is also featured through temporary exhibitions. The museum is much more open and accessible than most older-type museums in Romania and includes a library, as well as other spaces for culture and the city. Building The construction of the new museum took place through the demolition of one of the interwar villas in the vicinity. Ion Grigorescu (born March 15, 1945 in Bucharest) is a Romanian painter who was one of the first Romanian conceptual artists. René Groebli
René Groebli, sometimes spelt Gröbli, (born 9 October 1927 in Zurich) is an exhibiting and published Swiss industrial and advertising photographer, expert in dye transfer and colour lithography. Education René Groebli, son of Émile, a procurator, grew up in the Enge district of the city of Zurich, where he attended the Langzeitgymnasium. After two years, he moved to the Oberrealschule, a science-oriented grammar school, but broke off this education after two years to begin an apprenticeship as a photographer with Theo Vonow in Zurich in 1944. Martha Rosler (born 1943) is an American artist. She is a conceptual artist who works in photography and photo text, video, installation, sculpture, and performance, as well as writing about art and culture. Michelangelo Pistoletto (born 23 June 1933) is an Italian painter, action and object artist, and art theorist. Pistoletto is acknowledged as one of the main representatives of the Italian Arte Povera.
