Museum Park Station
Museum Park is a Metromover station located on the southeast corner of Biscayne Boulevard and I-395 in Miami, Florida. Originally opened as Bicentennial Park in 1994 and closed in 1996, the station reopened with the completion of the Pérez Art Museum Miami at the newly renamed eponymous park in 2013. An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. MacArthur Causeway
The General Douglas MacArthur Causeway is a six-lane causeway that connects Downtown Miami to South Beach via Biscayne Bay in Miami-Dade County. A people mover or automated people mover (APM) is a type of small scale automated guideway transit system. The term is generally used only to describe systems serving relatively small areas such as airports, downtown districts or theme parks. The term was originally applied to three different systems, developed roughly at the same time.
