Alexander Muse is an American Entrepreneurship, internet entrepreneur who has founded several internet companies including LayerOne, ShopSavvy, Architel, and ViewMarket (among others). His most recent endeavor, Sumo Ventures, invests in early-stage startups. Early life and education Muse was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, Portsmouth, Virginia. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he studied history before leaving in 1995 to pursue his career. Career Muse's first venture was an internet service provider, which was founded in 1997 and eventually acquired by DNA Technologies for an undisclosed amount. He performed and recorded with numerous artists including Firefall, The Marshall Tucker Band, Pam Rose, Bertie Higgins, Navarro, Boulder County Conspiracy, and Tonal Alchemy. During his 50+ year career, he appeared on more than 25 recordings and was awarded three Gold and two Platinum albums. John Roger Muse (born August 1, 1988) is an American ice hockey goaltender who is currently with Glasgow Clan in the UK Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL). Muse was most recently with Rødovre Mighty Bulls in the Danish Metal Ligaen. He also previously played with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL).
