Murtz
Murtaza Ali, better known as Murtz, is a British Asian television and radio presenter. After a long-running television series ''Mutz Cutz'' with the UK's largest Indian Satellite channel Zee TV, Murtz became a recognised personality establishing himself with a massive cult following to thousands of British Asian families across the UK and Europe. As of 2009 he is married to British Asian model and television presenter Gulzaeb Beg Ali. Early life Born and brought up in Harrow, Murtz started out pursuing an interest in dancing whilst studying Business Management at the University of Westminster in 1999. BBC Asian Network
BBC Asian Network is a British Asian radio station owned and operated by the BBC. The station's target audience is people "with an interest in British Asian lifestyles", especially British Asians between the ages of 18 and 34. The station has production centres at Broadcasting House in London and The Mailbox in Birmingham. The station broadcasts mainly in English, but has retained Sunday evening shows in South Asian languages. The Asian Network covers only the Indian subcontinent, with the rest of the continent – such as Japan and China – not covered by the station. The station's output consists largely of music and talk programmes. British Asians (also referred to as Asian Britons) are British citizens of Asian descent. ''The Guardian'' is a British daily newspaper. It was founded in 1821 as ''The Manchester Guardian'', and changed its name in 1959. Preeya Kalidas (born 21 June 1980) is a British singer and actress. She played Amira Masood in the soap opera ''EastEnders'', from 2009 to 2012. She released the single "Shimmy" in July 2010, taken from her proposed debut album ''(I'm Over It) Constant Craving''; however, the album was never released. Early life Preeya Kalidas was born to Indian Gujarati parents in Isleworth, and was raised in Twickenham, South-West London.
