Murtaya
The Murtaya is a lightweight, all-wheel drive (AWD), turbocharged flat-4 roadster based on the GC-generation (1992–2000) Subaru Impreza WRX STi. The Murtaya is the only low volume Motor Sports Association, MSA-approved category 2, specialist rally car currently available. The Murtaya Sports car is built, sold and is currently being further developed by ALS Sports Cars LLP, based near Tyne and Wear History Originally known under the codename AMS1, the Murtaya was first announced to the world on 11 April 2006 as a kit car that would be based on the Subaru Impreza. The Murtaya was basically a complete rework of the Delfino Feroce, as Adrenaline Motorsport, having just taken over rights to the Feroce, decided that the Delfino had enough shortcomings to warrant a redesign. Minari Engineering
Minari Engineering Ltd. was a Limited company based in Staffordshire, UK. They manufactured two vehicles, the Minari Club Sport (otherwise known as the Mk1), and the Minari Road Sport (otherwise known as the Mk2). They specialised in producing the components required to build cars based upon the Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo Alfasud, Alfasud and Alfa Romeo 33, 33 running gear, with bodies mainly constructed from Fiberglass, GRP. These could either be purchased in Kit form or through a build agent, Chameleon Cars. Around 130 Mk2 kits were sold before production finally stopped in 2000. Vehicles Minari Engineering Ltd. produced two different vehicles during their tenure. The Mk1 Club Sport The Mk1 Club Sport was Minari Engineerings first production kit. The chosen donor car was the Alfa Romeo Alfasud, this was primarily chosen due to the large number of Alfasuds being scrapped due to corrosion, but still having well functioning drive trains.
