Fabiana Murer
Fabiana de Almeida Murer (born 16 March 1981) is a retired Brazilian pole vaulter. She holds the South American record in the event with an indoor best of 4.82 m and an outdoor best of 4.87 m, making her the fourth highest vaulter ever at the time, now the eighth. She won the gold medal at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics, at the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships and also won at the 2007 Pan American Games. Murer represented Brazil at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. She is a four-time South American Champion with wins in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2011. Murer was coached by both the Ukrainian Vitaly Petrov, who managed the world record holders Sergei Bubka and Yelena Isinbayeva, and her husband, Élson Miranda de Souza, a former vaulter himself. Hyacinthe-Eugène Meunier (14 May 184122 April 1906), known as Eugène Murer, was a pastry chef, author, self-taught painter and collector of impressionist paintings. Franz Murer
Franz Murer (24 January 1912 – 5 January 1994) was an Austrian SS NCO (SS-''Oberscharführer''). Also known as the "Butcher of Vilnius", he created and ruled the Vilna Ghetto until July 1943, shortly before its liquidation. Murer was born in Sankt Georgen ob Murau, Austria, in 1912, and joined the NSDAP at the age of 26. He trained with the Hitler Youth in Nuremberg before being transferred to Vilnius, where between 1941 and 1943 he was the deputy of Territorial Commissioner (''Gebietskommissar'') Hans Christian Hingst in charge of "Jewish affairs". He was known as a sadist who showed special cruelty towards the Jews. Vilnius, which was known as "the Jerusalem of Lithuania" before the war, had a Jewish population of about 80,000. After the war around 250 Jews were living there. The rest had been murdered by the SS and Murer was instrumental in organizing these killings. Henny Mürer (22 February 1925 – 14 January 1997) was a Norwegian choreographer and dancer. She was also a journalist and critic for the broadcast and newspaper media. Her twin sister was Alice Mürer Siem (1925-2002) who was also a choreographer and dancer. Together with her sister, she studied at Rita Tori's Ballet School (1938-1946). Daniel "Dani" Morer Cabrera (born 5 February 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for FC Andorra, on loan from Portuguese club F.C. Famalicão.
